Chip Bishop

Bishop book cover

Chip Bishop is the great-grandnephew of the “journalist” in his book, The Lion and the Journalist, The Unlikely Friendship of Theodore Roosevelt and Joseph Bucklin Bishop. He grew up in Woonsocket, R.I. and graduated from Boston University.

Bishop has written extensively for radio and television news, newspapers and industry trade journals. His wide-ranging career includes time as a disc jockey, youth drug counselor, community relations specialist, campaign aide for President Jimmy Carter, Capitol Hill lobbyist and marketing professional.

He lives on Cape Cod with his wife and business partner, Jane Nichols Bishop. More information about Bishop can be found on his website, www.chipbishop.com
